26 Oct '05 - + 15 - 17 Auf Wiedersehen, Deutschland
We're less than six hours from ending our time living in Germany.
We'll take a night train tonight to Warsaw, then continue on to Krakow,
Bratislava, Belgrade, Zagreb, Ljubljana, and Rome over the next couple
weeks. We'll then return to America on a cruise ship. So,
we're far from being home (29 days away), but this chapter of our lives
is about closed.
We've sent some stuff home with family, some ahead to Rome, some home
by FedEx, give some away to friends here. The fridge is empty,
and the apartment looks bare.
It's time to go.
I'll try to post occasionally over the next few weeks, but there's no
guarantee that I'll have enough time at internet cafes to say what I
want to say, and even less chance that I'll be able to share pictures.
